About Charles McKelroy

Lake Jackson, TX

Charles “Dennis” McKelroy’s interest in photography started soon after graduation from High School. Dennis has taken several courses in photography to advance his knowledge in the art; first with film, and recently with digital.
His interest has mostly been nature, wildlife, scenic, and still life. He has traveled extensively around Texas as well as other parts of the United States, Mexico, and other countries. Having been raised in southeast Texas along the Gulf coast many of his images have been captured locally. West Texas also holds a special interest to him. The Texas desert and mountains of the Big Bend, Alpine, and the Davis Mountains high plains are subjects you find among his collections.
Dennis’ equipment is mostly Canon professional camera bodies and lenses. He does the majority of his editing in Adobe Photoshop. All of his photos are of original subjects edited to show exactly the subject as captured; no photograph has been altered or “Photo-shopped” in any way. What you see is what Dennis saw at the time of capture.
Thank you for your interest. I’m honored you took the time to look through the collections and hope that you will find an image to fulfill your need.
C. Dennis McKelroy
