The fifth painting in the Solitude series. I met up with fellow adventurer Adrian this past week and his ambition and passion for the outdoors, particularly whitewater kayaking, forced me to put other work on hold and paint this thing. Plan a trip, quit your job, burn your stuff, live outside!
Brian DeYoung grew up outside Chicago, Illinois area and relocated to Savannah, Georgia in 2008. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in illustration.
Illustration has been his passion for a very long time, particularly using traditional media to create his work, along with using his images to create a story. Brian's work is poignant, animated, technically impressive, and often humorous.
