What's new? How's the weather? Is it stormy where you are? This piece is a combination of traditional media and digital work. The background is composed of different colors of nail polish painted on canvas. I digitally overlaid the background with a watercolor texture, the couple and the city. The couple was originally painted on the canvas with India ink but I didn't like the way it came out, so I replaced them digitally.
Liesl graduated from UMASS Dartmouth in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in fine arts – graphic design / letterform. She has been running an engraving business for over 15 years. Her work varies from digital to photographic and engraved pieces. She is always seeking new inspiration & ideas.
