Piece description from the artist
This elegant piece in black and white was inspired by abundant reeds growing on the edge of a small alpine lake within Mount Lassen National Park, in California. The lake was fed by snow-melt via a small stream, lots of aquatic life to be found, sheltered by the reeds, on a sunny day. I wanted to create a dramatic view, full of strong contrast, and striking lines, so interpreted the reeds and lake water in this striking fashion. The art can be printed up to 50 inches wide, upon request.
