Laurel Creek

Piece description from the artist

This work is a photograph on canvas, limited edition 3/200 signed on front & back. Archival up to 200 years, 4 coats of UV varnish, comes w/a Black wooden 2 step floater frame.

My favorite hike is along Laurel Creek, just before you get to Hot Springs, NC. It was the end of Fall & the light was fading rapidly, my wife calls to me to hurry up or we'll be late for the hot tube, some 15 mins. away.

Carrying the camera all day without one serious shot, this was perhaps my last chance of the season! Of all the reflection shots I have ever taken, this one is very special. The reflection on top of the water combined with the fallen leaves lying on the bottom of the creek. The crystal clear water allowed no separation between them, they joined in a dance never seen before!

This is a TurningArt exclusive limited edition print available in editions of 100.
