The painting shows London shrouded in a purple fog. The street lights are already on. You can see the famous Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower) in the background. The painting conveys the mystical yet cosy positive atmosphere of the place. One of the key features of the work is the colour palette. Particular attention should be paid to the pastel purple. Oil, canvas, varnished. Signed.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
