A female deer in the woods just south of Springfield Missouri looks back at me. This is a photo I took and turned into a digital oil painting. Deer are mammals in the family Cervidae. One main group of deer are the Cervinae, which includes the muntjac, elk, allow deer, and chital.

Jennifer White is a professional photographer from the Ozarks in Southwest Missouri, United States.
