For the work I used high-quality pastel paper and soft pastels, pastel and charcoal pencils. These are my favorite techniques and materials, as they can achieve truly unique results. Especially in realism. The plot of the picture came to me after watching the film Tango Lesson, which shows the true love of dance of a professional dancer and a woman – the author of the scripts for films and the director. The incredible atmosphere of the film gave me emotion for this picture. Awesome camera work helped to create my picture. I really love beautiful art, dance, music, and, as it seems to me, I was able to transfer to paper the magic of the moment, dance and love of a man and a woman.
Viktoria Gaman is an artist and illustrator. Born in Russia in Samara.
She graduated from the Maimonides Academy in Moscow in 2005 in piano. She worked in the folk ensemble named after Zykina. She has been a professional photographer since 2005. She took up painting at the age of 32. Since then, Viktoria has been writing and drawing a lot, participating in various events, selling her paintings to different countries.
Now Viktoria Gaman's paintings are in private collections of collectors from the USA, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Israel.
