Luke Shepardson drops into one of largest waves of the day in the last heat of the 2023 Eddie Surf Competition. What a hero story, a lifeguard winning the Eddie event! Luke was on the clock working as a North Shore lifeguard and surfing heats during his breaks. His three wave total scores were near perfect and he won the event! Such an emotional day!
Brad is an accomplished photographer, avid surfer and paddler. Originally from North Carolina and has made Hawaii Home back in 2019 after visiting for a month.
He recently entered Hawaii Magazine's 24th annual photo competition and won the grand prize and runner up in the wild life category.
