Piece description from the artist
Another painting from my creative cycle of neon cities. New York. Manhattan. The peculiarity of my "neon" works is that I use exaggeratedly bright colors and the most daring combinations. Pay attention to the luminous windows. This is a play of colors. In real life, the night streets of Manhattan look different (there are advertisements everywhere), but my task is to convey the atmosphere and spirit. In addition, I add a little mystical fabulousness. Oil, canvas. Varnished. Signed.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
