Piece description from the artist
A high contrast minimalist black and white photograph of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I was struck by how the backside of this building (a performing arts center), was so imposing and sort of ominous. Of course, it didn't help that the day was cold and overcast. Taken in the early afternoon, the sky was white. I wanted a dark feel, so I made the sky black and added the streaks. I also did a lot of digital dodging and burning to bring the focal point to the corners of the two tiers of the structure. I purposely did not make the vertical lines of the corners perfectly straight up and down to add to the dark feel.
Taken January 10, 2018.

motion. Mood. Atmosphere. These are the heartbeats of my photography. From sweeping landscapes to intricate still life and captivating macros, my work is a journey – one that reveals my triumphs, struggles, beliefs, and the essence of who I am.
I'm all about spontaneity. I don't stage what I shoot; I let the world around me guide the lens. What catches my eye becomes the canvas for my story.
But the magic doesn't end when I click the shutter. That's just the beginning. I dive deeper, transforming raw images into visual tales. I add textures, enhance contrasts, and sculpt the light and shadows to evoke the emotions I felt in that very moment. It's a process of alchemy, where my heart and mind collaborate to bring my vision to life.
