Mathers Point first light of the day

Piece description from the artist

One of the best and yet easiest locations for sunrise at the Grand Canyon is Mathers Point. Located close to the visitors center on the south rim, this location always draws a crowd to watch the sunrise over the canyon walls. This shot was captured just east of the crowds about 30 minutes before sunrise on a chilly October morning.
