Minnehaha Morning

Piece description from the artist

My family had a long camping weekend on Washington Island. We ended up missing the last ferry over to the island. A positive side was that we were able to do a short stay at Peninsula State Park. For being short notice we really lucked out on a great campsite. We stayed along the South Nicolet Bay campground. The next morning I was able to wander the Minnehaha Hiking Trail to find the amazing composition. The clear water and clouds really unveiled a beautiful sunrise.

About Andrew Slater

Waukesha, WI

Father. Husband. Engineer. Photography.

Yep in that order. I love photography, but I also love being a father of three, a husband, and a professional engineer.

I work in downtown Milwaukee, WI, and live in Waukesha, WI. However, I will capture anywhere between and then some.

My inspiration is being able to get outside and enjoy the environment. Life moves fast, photography helps me freeze it, at least for a little while. Primarily, I like to capture landscapes and architecture. As a father of three little kids, I also get to capture as my families grows.
