This is a fluid art abstract landscape in acrylic made with colors ranging from purples to reds to yellows. The sky is made from 3 different blue colors mixed together to create a marbled look. The colors in the foreground are reminiscent of a lava flow which is why the piece is called Molten Earth.
Denise is an artist from Arvada, Colorado. She draws her inspiration for painting from nature and likes to paint landscapes. Since she is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains of Colorado, there is a lot of inspiration to draw upon. She also recently has begun branching out to abstract painting with acrylic paints and experimenting with various filters in digital graphics applications.
