Piece description from the artist
I find this one to be a bit whimsical for one thing because it was incidental, paint left behind from tape on metal. I captured the sheep because it reminded me of an experience in Monument Valley and seeing the stone monoliths. Yet the shape also struck me somehow as cute. I found this to be an interesting combination of being a character, and also expessing elemental patterns of nature that form monoliths of stone or wood. I adjusted the colors and then placed it on this black backdrop to stand out, yet also sort of blend with different color schemes, especially neutrals.
