This is public artwork called the Wave Sculpture, located at Shelter Island Shoreline Park in San Diego, California. The sculpture was not the reason I was at this location, I was taking photos of San Diego Harbor, but on my way back to my car, the Moon over the sculpture provided for a nice composition.
Joseph is a self-taught photographer living in San Diego, California. Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity and avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint. He still continues working to improve his craft all the while though. His photographs are presented in a straightforward way and engage the creative process to produce photographs of familiar subjects in an impressionistic and abstract manner. His simple hope is that his photographic work promotes an interest in art and that it expresses joy and beauty.
