Morning Egrets

Piece description from the artist

Morning Egrets was painted from a photo in studio. It was an early morning around 6:30 and the sky was an amazing orange against a gray purple shore and the white egrets seemed surreal as they stood so peacefully on the wet sand. I think this image is embedded in my mind – it was so beautiful it seemed surreal- I tried to keep it simple and added much abstraction and simplicity to let the birds be the main focus.
