Intense shift in the environment is moving its building blocks in solidarity parallel to the above and the bellows. Tectonic plates are able to move because the Earth's lithosphere has greater strength than the underlying asthenosphere.
Maya Britan was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel in 1956. She grew up in an artistic community and started painting at the age of fourteen. Living among professional artists exposed her to myriad artistic styles imbued her with versatility and originality. Now she lives in Los Angeles, California and works mostly in oil and acrylics.
Her work has been shown nationally in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Portland; and internationally in Spain, and Holland.
