Piece description from the artist
A 2 time award winner! Inspired by the Moxy Hotel interior colors I wrote this poem to describe the painting:
Moxie is courage, daring, and bold
With colors of black, blue, teal and gold
Dynamic are those who have gathered this trait
The wealthy, the rich, it’s created their fate
To live in luxury of what moxie brings
And have all the treasures, like cars and big rings
A hotel in Manhattan, you’ll find Moxy there
Wealth and great riches not having a care
The colors of Moxie are bold like the word
To think it is brash or rude is absurd
You gotta have Moxie to get through life’s strife
It’s luxury earned, in the glamorous light
