Notre-Dame de Paris is a medieval Catholic cathedral, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture. Construction of the cathedral began in 1163 under Bishop Maurice de Sully and was largely completed by 1260. Notre-Dame de Paris is one of the most widely recognized symbols of the city of Paris and the French nation. Oil, canvas on a panel. Varnished and signed.

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
