Orange Koi

Piece description from the artist

I came across these vibrant Koi fish while visiting a Japanese garden. I was mesmerized by the brightly colored Koi fish and thought of the important role they played in the ancient study of Feng Shui. The fundamental principles of balancing energy and creating harmony are specific elements which the Koi fish has been associated with. Their rhythmic patterns, which they seemed to move in unison, were beautiful and alluring.
