It's spring, and flowers are in bloom everywhere. There's a hibiscus bush right outside the front door, and it's loaded with bright pink hibiscus flowers. With regard to the painting, I really didn't know what to do with all those ice plants in the background, I was afraid they might not work, but they turned out great actually.
