Potash Road Utah Coming Storm

Piece description from the artist

Stormy clouds with pink and purple hues start to move in as I was looking down the middle of Potash Road, in Moab, Utah, United States. This is also known as the Lower Colorado River Scenic Byway U-279. The view along this majestic cliff, also called the Desert Wall Street, is breathtaking. The road stretches ahead, flanked on one side by the mighty Colorado River peaking through the trees and vegetation, and on the other by a towering sandstone cliff. For 17 miles, the cliff soars up to 200 feet, its rugged red and amber hues contrasting beautifully with the greenery at its base. Clusters of bushes and trees cling to the earth, their vibrant tones emphasizing the sheer scale of the cliff face. This corridor is alive with history and natural wonder, offering glimpses of ancient rock art etched into the sandstone and fossilized dinosaur tracks preserved for eons. The road’s serene beauty is punctuated by arches and countless climbing routes, making this a paradise for adventurers and nature enthusiasts alike.
