Red is a favorite color of mine although I find it so powerful that i use it sparingly so in this painting I balanced the power of red with the simplicity of the circle forms.
Don’s work is a crossover between pure abstraction and references to the natural world. Color and texture are key elements in his work. His effort is to play with chaos and create balance through layers of transparent color and hue.
