This photo was taken in my bedroom on Pacific Street. I always loved the way my room looked when the sun had set, because there was a certain vibe that my street had, which always carried into my room. It felt as if I was in my own corner of the world, where nothing could reach me but strange and beautiful pieces of light.
Vanessa 'Venusian' Edwards is a Brooklyn-based visual artist, photographer, and Temple alumna who thrives on color, concept, and creativity. Through visually stimulating editing, she loves to emphasize the aspect of story and human emotion in any single photograph. Her favorite saying regarding her work is "human emotion is a lost art", which is something she aims to capture in every shot.
