This painting captures the serene beauty of the Mediterranean sea with its crystal clear, blue waters and the three graceful sailboats. The white sails of the boats stand out against the blue sky and fluffy white clouds, creating a sense of calm and freedom. I tried my best to convey the peacefulness of a day at sea and the simplicity of the sailboats cutting through the water. I hope this painting brings the viewer a sense of tranquility and at the same time a longing for adventure. Canvas. Oil. Signed. Varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
