Sand Falls in Antelope Canyon

Piece description from the artist

The southwest is full of breathtaking, awe-inspiring places, and Antelope Canyon is one of those places. Walking through the slot canyon, you're greeted with red rock everywhere you turn, and your gaze runs over the many hundreds of waves and pattern formations in the rocks. It's a place where the imagination can run wild. For this image I wanted to show the depth of imagery in Antelope Canyon: the sand appearing smooth as silk as it created a 'sand falls', the glow of the red rock behind the beam of light, the rich red and wavy patterns of the rocks in shadow, and, of course, the beam of light itself. Antelope Canyon is magical, and I hope viewers feel a sense of that awe in this image.
