This 2009 photograph depicts the Santa Monica Pier in California. It uses a long exposure technique to blur the neon lights of the Ferris Wheel and other carnival rides.
Sarah A. Miller is a photographer living in the Pacific Northwest. She works as a photojournalist in Boise, Idaho. Previously she held newspaper positions in Texas, Utah, Michigan and Ohio. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University. She loves the outdoors, especially mountains, rivers and deserts.
