This is an original photograph by photojournalist Sarah A. Miller of the scenic Sawtooth National Recreation Area mountains of Idaho in the Western United States. The iconic forested peaks and pine trees are snow-capped for the winter.
Sarah A. Miller is a photographer living in the Pacific Northwest. She works as a photojournalist in Boise, Idaho. Previously she held newspaper positions in Texas, Utah, Michigan and Ohio. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University. She loves the outdoors, especially mountains, rivers and deserts.
