Piece description from the artist
A grain elevator in Wilsall, Montana, just before the sun goes down. The photograph was taken with the sun directly behind the elevator, creating an aura of light around its edges, and softening the blue of the sky. Often the side of the grain elevator that gets the most sun is faded and weathered, creating interesting textures in a photograph, but if I explore the side that's in shadow, often I find that the more interesting side isn't the one most visible. This elevator had a great hidden side from the road, where the shapes and textures were far more varied and interesting.
