This is a very special image of the skyline of New York because you see the sunset gradually change into the night in just one image. In the middle of the photo there is the light of the sunset, towards the upper and lower parts of the image it changes into dusk and night.
Frank Peters is an award-winning fine art, travel and landscape photographer from The Netherlands. Winner of the International Photography Awards (IPA, New York) category Minimalism and awarded in global photo contests since 2015.
He has a preference for vast landscapes; mountains, hills, countryside and open water. But he also appreciates dynamic skylines. To photograph the best locations and light Peters enjoys walking for miles, climbing mountains, enduring extreme cold and waiting for hours for the right conditions. His dedication reflects in his images. In 2019 Peters published 'The Story of my Light', a book with the stories behind his best photos.
