Something to say

Piece description from the artist

As an evolutionary piece in my practice, this combination of abstract, stencil, and story-telling came together in this mixed media painting. Part of my newest collection, "Subconscious Stories" I was inspired by Carl Jung and some color palettes used by of De Kooning.
Digging deeper into my own journey, I laid out a foundation of an abstract painting on the main layer and built intuitively on top. The message "I guess I have nothing/something to say" was a part that came through in the process and wasn't planned. It was channeled into the piece knowing that this collection was meant to connect with others on a spiritual level.
