Piece description from the artist
Translucent Petals is a New Series of Six. I wanted to achieve a natural, organic, not too colorful work of art. I used watercolor and inks and let the paint flow naturally. By using a limited palette, I wanted to achieve a less is more, calm and peaceful mood. I think the paint has made its statement and it is interesting to see the movement of the paint as well as the garden flower that it is. I love the color of flowers in the gardens. I also wanted to show the beauty of a flower, its petals, stems and structures on its own minus a lot of color. Resulting in a natural, peaceful work of art.
