The iconic seawall at the Children's Pool Beach in La Jolla, California. It is always fun to view the surf impacting the seawall when there is big surf making its way onto the San Diego coast. Although the power of the sea can be destructive, in this case it shows the dramatically beautiful aspect of the sea.

Joseph is a self-taught photographer living in San Diego, California. Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity and avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint. He still continues working to improve his craft all the while though. His photographs are presented in a straightforward way and engage the creative process to produce photographs of familiar subjects in an impressionistic and abstract manner. His simple hope is that his photographic work promotes an interest in art and that it expresses joy and beauty.
