Paramahansa Yogananda founded Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) in 1920 to disseminate his teachings worldwide and to preserve their purity and integrity for generations to come.The society is dedicated to carrying on Paramahansa Yogananda’s spiritual and humanitarian work – fostering a spirit of greater harmony and goodwill among those of all races, cultures, and creeds; and introducing to truth-seekers all over the world his teachings on the ancient science of Yoga and its time-honored methods of meditation.
Joseph is a self-taught photographer living in San Diego, California. Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity and avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint. He still continues working to improve his craft all the while though. His photographs are presented in a straightforward way and engage the creative process to produce photographs of familiar subjects in an impressionistic and abstract manner. His simple hope is that his photographic work promotes an interest in art and that it expresses joy and beauty.
