Stamen

Piece description from the artist

Inspired by spring flowers, this abstracted floral is a beautifully vibrant abstract in multiple layers of pinks, peach, violets and blues. It’s layering of oil paint, gently overlapping, recalls the petals and stamen of poppies. The use of pink suggests the feminine yet the bold characteristics of the shapes allow for strength and balance.
