Piece description from the artist
This is a photograph taken while living in Los Angeles in 2013. It focuses on a uniquely geometric building facade that brings to mind Escher's impossible works of perspective. Staircases varying in size and shape cascade down, one leading to the next, none progressing to any discernible end. Such is life in a state of chaos.
Kevin Black is a photographer, creator, and designer in Indianapolis. His work reflects his travels, explorations, occasional bouts of serious boredom, and is characterized by its unique composition, geometric patterns, and surreal perspectives.
