About Sarah Eslick

Southborough, MA

Sarah Eslick’s love of photography dates back to an inspirational high school photography class and the converging influences of her two wonderful grandfathers, one a professional artist and illustrator, the other a devout photography hobbyist and technical expert. She remembers pouring through dusty, black photo albums in their company, and family visits to museums that involved in-depth discussion of the composition of paintings, identifying the line or color block that made an image successful.

Later, Sarah pursued her passion for art in college, earning a degree in Art History from Bucknell University. She further honed her visual skills through work at "Sotheby’s":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sotheby's, and subsequently at a contemporary art gallery in New York. It is painter "Paul Cézanne":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_C%C3%A9zanne and photographers "Henri Cartier-Bresson":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henri_Cartier-Bresson and "Walker Evans":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walker_Evans who are among the artists who have most influenced her artistic development.

Sarah is currently based in the Boston area.
