Piece description from the artist
I’m never sure what I’m going to work on when I arrive in the studio. Today I was thinking about my dad while I was walking. I remember him saying how important is was to take care of your feet when on the battlefield. I get lots of blisters and my feet are jacked. I started thinking about his feet. His service and all those who served. So when I arrived today I focused on a painting I put aside as I wasn’t sure where it was going. That changed today. This painting poured out. Thank you for your service seems too small a sentence. Sometimes a painting can speak louder.
