The beautiful old barn at Mormon Row stands at the foot of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming on a lovely winter evening. Photographing the mountains in the winter is one of my favorite times of the year to get really magical landscapes. The mountains always look so amazing when dusted with a fresh coat of snow, and when the landscape is covered in the sparkling snow, the light in the atmosphere creates a lovely glow, casting this old barn in a warm light of the sunset.
Annie was born and raised in Montana, growing up on her family's ranch in the beautiful Smith River Valley. Growing up in Montana's wild and beautiful Landscape led to her deep love of nature and all things rural. Annie attended the Art Institute of Colorado and lived in Denver Colorado until the completion of her Interior Design degree in 2002. After working in that field for several years, Annie moved back to Montana and began her own business, focusing on her ever-growing love of photography. She began traveling the backroads and wilderness of Montana and the Rocky Mountain region and selling her photos professionally in galleries, shops, and online. She primarily searches for rural Landscapes, old barns, abandoned farmhouses, and occasionally wildlife she encounters. Her work as been featured in HGTV, Better Homes and Gardens, and featured in three books on emerging artists of the United States. She currently lives in Billings, Montana, and takes several trips during the year to gather new images.
