This painting was commissioned by a friend shortly after my brother died. In painting I prayed for the liberation of his spirit. In it I remembered him and felt him as I do, appreciating his love and joy and brightness even as I grieved heavily.
Oshri Hakak has worked as an artist most of his life and likes to create simple, profound, and joyful images. He is also a musician and loves to nourish people in all ways possible- sonically, visually, audibly, and energetically.
