The Light Between

Piece description from the artist

In the soft afternoon light, the towering chimney of Battersea Power Station emerges between sleek apartment buildings, strikingly referencing London’s history and modernity. The golden rays illuminate its industrial grandeur, casting a warm glow that bridges the eras. I took this photo because it captures the spirit of transformation, where architecture and culture coexist in a harmonious ballet along the banks of the Thames. I love the funky design of the flats in the foreground and the sleek simplicity of the chimney in the background. Their competing heights almost make it look as if they’re connected bridging that bond even closer.
