A mystical thick foggy fall season morning at Finley River Dam in Ozark Missouri, United States. The golden orange, yellow and green trees try to show their color through the haze. Some logs sit on the edge of the dam. I was on the top side of the small dam. The headwaters of the Finley River are in Webster County southeast of Seymour. The stream flows west-southwest into Christian County, through Ozark and into the northeast corner of Stone County to its confluence with the James River at the old townsite of Jamesville. Ozark is just south of Springfield MO.
