Piece description from the artist
The beauty of centuries-old stonework is in the seemingly unorganized yet perfectly cohesive patterns in the brick.
Matt Katsaros loves taking photographs.
Mostly self-taught, this passion has been deep within him since the age of 15 when he built a darkroom in an empty shed on the side of his house and began printing and selling his photos at a tomato stand up the street from his home.
His work revolves around the idea of appreciating the mundane in life by taking pictures of everyday items, patterns, and scenery that is easily taking for granted.
