First big snowstorm of the new year started in mid afternoon. Against my better judgement, I headed downtown to get a snow shot. Ended up at the Pappajohn Sculpture Garden with a shot of "Thinker on a Rock" by Barry Flanagan. Thinking tomorrow may need to be an indoor day. Des Moines, Iowa. 2015.
Mike Hiatt picked up his parent's Kodak Brownie when he was 7, fell in love with photography, and never looked back. After graduating with a degree in Filmmaking, Mike began a career in visual communications. He has worked as a photographer, videographer and multimedia developer in both the public and private sector. Mike shoots primarily in Black and White and focuses on architectural, documentary, and environmental subjects.
