This photograph was taken during a welcoming ceremony in the village of Daru Tunkia, Sierra Leone. The elders, along with the Chief must discuss the work of the outsiders visiting their village before they can be officially welcomed.
Chris Davidson is a freelance cinematographer and photographer based in Los Angeles, Calif. His vast talent is apparent in the variety of projects he pursues both domestically and internationally, from acting as assistant cameraman for feature films to documenting post-civil war conditions in Sierra Leone.
