This is one of my favorite secluded beaches where this beautiful palm tree leans out over the ocean. The sun rises behind the island off in the distance creating a magical scene. For this shot, I really loved all the gnarly rope and old nets so I got the camera down low to create more drama.
Brad is an accomplished photographer, avid surfer and paddler. Originally from North Carolina and has made Hawaii Home back in 2019 after visiting for a month.
He recently entered Hawaii Magazine's 24th annual photo competition and won the grand prize and runner up in the wild life category.
