I love the almost infinite shapes created at that perfect moment when the surf meets sand. When photographing this moment, and in combination with using a long exposure, you are never certain what shapes/patterns will be captured. Only when you bring the photo into the processing software can you really appreciate the unique capture of that perfect moment.
Although this photograph could be from anywhere in the world, it was captured on the coast in La Jolla, California, USA.

Joseph is a self-taught photographer living in San Diego, California. Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity and avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint. He still continues working to improve his craft all the while though. His photographs are presented in a straightforward way and engage the creative process to produce photographs of familiar subjects in an impressionistic and abstract manner.
