This painting is incredibly colorful and eye-catching. The base of the painting is Flash Gold from Modern Masters metallic paints, so all of the cells have a translucent quality to them and the rainbow colors are so vibrant. The colors were applied to the canvas and then a hair dryer moved the fluid paints around.
Denise is an artist from Arvada, Colorado. She draws her inspiration for painting from nature and likes to paint landscapes. Since she is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains of Colorado, there is a lot of inspiration to draw upon. She also recently has begun branching out to abstract painting with acrylic paints and experimenting with various filters in digital graphics applications.
