The colors were starting to blend around the Pea Island Life Saving Station and I really wanted to create a photo that was soft enough to resemble a painting. Increasing the exposure time of the image smooths out any movement and further reducing the clarity in post creates a soft image where the water, the tourists, the station and the sky somewhat blend together.
